Confessions of Nothing

{March 9, 2007}   Healthy Relationships

This may sound corny or you may think it is wrong, but it’s how I feel. And also is a healthy relationship and a good one. I really think that the best way to start a new relationship is to act like it’s the first one. Don’t compare this person to previous people you’ve been with. because everyone is different, and every experience with a new person will be different, too. Act like it’s the first time for everything, even if it’s not. Because every experience is a new one, and it is the first time with this NEW person. Give them a clean slate. And, an open mind. Just because they are different doesn’t mean they aren’t good. Another, point to my theory is: that why rush a relationship to a point where your last one was? because then you miss all the memories of getting there. And also, you rush a relationship it’s easier to get hurt! All I really want is someone I can start new with and take it as it comes. And, someone that I can enjoy myself with and to have new experiences. And I think Ben is a good example of a good boy friend. and I’m so glad that I found him!!!! Wish you the best of luck.

{March 9, 2007}   Bad Boys

The bad boy…

He’s attractive, sure, but why? Why are we attracted to the boys that just hurt us? Why do nice guys finish last?

Bad Boys are charming, sweet talkers, and unpredictable which tends to make them more fun. We never exactly know whats going to happen; they keep us on out toes. But, the thins is with this excitement comes RISK!! Eventually, the games that are played end. Why? Because they are no longer fun for the bad boy. And, then we are dumped. Yes, Bad Boys are fun. But, they’re BAD Boyfriends; that’s exactly why they’re BAD Boys!!!

{March 9, 2007}   Difference.

“Everyone must leave something behind when he dies. something your hand touched some way so your soul has somewhere to go when you die, and when people look at that you’re there.”           -Ray Bradbury-

My main goal in life is to be happy and make a difference somehow. If I could fine a profession that could full-fill both of these I would feel extremely full-filled and accomplished.

But, there are many different ways to make a difference. In what you do, create, or who you influence. These things add to the world, and show the person who helped change them.

If everyone did something positive to add to the world, at least ONE thing. Then the would would be a much better place.

The people who sit around, do nothing, and who are selfish. Aren’t the people who get remembered. It’s the people who do something important, it’s the people who touch lives, the people who make a difference; those are the ones that are remembered through out generations. Those are the people who are admired and who truly know whats important. These are the people who make a difference and are truly happy.

{March 9, 2007}   Confined

“Personal lyricism is the outcry of prisoner to prisoner from the cell in solitary where each is confined for the duration of his life.”     -Tennessee Williams-

We are all confined to our bodies throughout our whole lives. If you think about it that’s a very long time to be confined to one thing. We go crazy enough when we are stuck in a car or our rooms for to long. But, the thing is we are the only people in the world that truly know what it’s like to be in out own bodies.

We are lucky enough in this society that we have the freedom of expression, beliefs, and speach. Everything that a person does reflects a bit of what they are on the inside.

The way a person acts, dresses, and speaks gives everyone  them an opinion on that person. The thing is since we are all out own person everyone’s opinion on us is different, and not always our own opinion. This is where there tends to be conflict. The thing is if you are comfortable with yourself then you shouldn’t care about others contradicting opinions. You have the right to have their opinions and reactions.

Everything we do gives people an insite and small glimse into our lives. It’s our escape from ourselves. The way we use our containment to still reach out to others and express to them what its like to be trapped in this body.

{March 9, 2007}   Ignorance is NOT Bliss

I don’t dislike you because of your style. I don’t dislike you because of your race. I just loath your ignorance!

I think that it’s dumb that certain social groups think that it’s cool to be ignorant and act ignorant. people talk like they’ve never been in an English class in their lives! They wear clothes that don’t fit them. They do drugs, and throw away their opportunity to make something of themselves.

Some people are mad at the government/ society, and think that to get back at them they “revolt”. But, what they don’t get is that we don’t give a damn! You’re just hurting yourself, and will wind up dead, in a prison, or on the street eventually. Not our problem. But, just think about how many ancestors of all of ours to create equality in education and in out society. The Truth is people now don’t categorize people based on their race, but on their education.

If you want to make a difference or get back at society, get an education and go into politics! Prove them wrong!

When people are ignorant or act ignorant they are just looked down upon; which is the opposite of what we all fought for in equality. But, the this is YOU now get the chance to change that. Just people are to ignorant to even try.

Intentional Ignorance leads to RUIN!

{March 9, 2007}   Left behind?

The “No child left behind” law passed in Illinois is to insure that every child receives the same level of education as every other child. It gives Handicapped children the right to be in a normal classroom. Is also insures that every child will remain in the classroom environment, though they are disruptive.

This law has created more problems in the classroom and learning environment then to help it. Handicapped children often are very distracting and disruptive in the classroom. They need extra help and assistance in the class and need to have an assistant help them. They sometimes need extra explanation on a subject that everyone else understands. Then the teacher needs to take time from the rest of the class in order to help them. All of these things are taking from the learning environment in the class room. Also some Handicapped children tend to have emotional and/or social problems. And, being in a normal classroom can sometimes make the child feel incompetent because they may be struggling in the class while all the other students are doing fine. why set these children, who already have a hard life, up for failure and pain?

Another flaw in the “No Child left Behind” law is its tolerance to all children in the school systems. Public schools aren’t allowed to kick students out of school unless they are thought of as a threat to the students and staff. meaning the school has to tolerate many students who don’t even care to be there. Again, their behavioral problems take away from the people who actually want to take advantage of the education given to them. The school has to concentrate on punishing students who are constantly causing trouble; taking away their time to concentrate on bettering the education in the school. These kids don’t want to be at school and are causing all of us to suffer. They get away with so much, and waste all out time.

{March 9, 2007}   Individual Thought

There recently has been a conclusion that there hasn’t been a “new” or unique thought in over several decades. THis is a result of the smount of humans on the Earth and some people think all the ideas have been throught of. But, I completly disagree! For two reasons:

One

If a person has never heard a specific idea. Then wouldn’t that be considered a unique thought? Just because it may have been thought about before, doesn’t take away the amaaing ability of the human brain to question things and come to a conclusion for their own.

TWO

If there hasn’t been a new thought in over a few decades then why do we constantly have such new techology advances? We have new books being published, new plays, movies, and shows being produced, new bands making albums, and new artists creating work. Though much of these thigns may have been inspired by prevous things; they are still now! I bet the majority of those thigns created are there own, and there no clones of them.

Individual thought is a very rare and important thing to society. And, it will always be. As long or people keep developing and thinking for their own.

Finally, February is over! March in my opinion is one of the best months! It’s Ironic though that in order to get to March you have to go through February (the WORST Month)!

In a way that simple idea shows us that in order to have the good in life you have to also deal with the bad. Without the bad we wouldn’t be able to enjoy and value the good as much. Maybe one of the reasons March seems to great is because it comes directly after such a horrible month, and so everything just seems so much better. I personally much rather have to go through the difficult times in order to enjoy the goodness. Then not to have either.

In conclusion, inorder to have the good there needs to be the bad and tough situations to make the good BETTER!

You have to go through February in-order to get through March.
