Why is it that people don’t like change? I heard from a wise man today that people are afraid of failure, and with that they are also afraid of change. Change is doing something new and they fear they won’t be good at it. That is why people don’t like or fear the concept of change.
The technology world is ALWAYS changing. Look at the inventory for I-pods, Mp3s, computers, TVs, and even radios! With all this new technology offered to us it causes the work force to change. New jobs available that weren’t even around 10-30-50 years ago, and also some jobs aren’t available any more. But, with all these new jobs the skill and knowledge to get them is also changing.
Now, with the increasing amount of knowledge people need to get these new jobs, our school systems are also evolving and changing. Another, reason school systems are different from before is due to recent studies that prove and help test different learning methods. The Educational Career is always changing in order to better do it’s job; which is to educated future generations in order to be prepared for their lives and future.
How we teach our youngest generations is Vidal to future society! And, if one took the time to think about it; with all these new demands the same teaching methods aren’t going to help prepare these children for their future because that method was created to help prepare for what is now their present. Resulting in the need for new teaching methods or the building/ further developing to better suit the demands for each generation.
All this change in our World today just keeps continuing, and if people aren’t willing to accept it; then they are SOL because the World can’t slow down for them because they “don’t want to do it.” People need to learn that when it comes to it change is unavoidable; you may be able to run from it but you can’t HIDE!
Now, I only used this as an example due to my aunt’s constant annoyances with her career at the moment and the ignorance of her colleagues by resisting change in their careers. But, this whole blog is really related towards any change.
You either embrace change or you’re the creator of your own problems! =/
